The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was established in 2001. The department boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure, including well-equipped classrooms, advanced laboratories, and a seminar hall. The telecommunications industry is one of the fastest- growing sectors in the world, and India is projected to become the second-largest telecommunications market globally.
The department is supported by a team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty members who are committed to academic excellence and student development. Under the visionary guidance of the management and the principal, the department has achieved remarkable growth and continues to scale new heights. The department has been accredited twice by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), in 2009 and 2024, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high academic standards. It has also received research grants from AICTE and the University of Mumbai, encouraging innovation and research among faculty and students.
The department is dedicated to excellence in the teaching-learning process. Our students have consistently performed exceptionally well in academics, with several securing positions among the top 50 ranks at the University level in the final-year examinations. To enhance students' knowledge and skills, the department regularly organizes seminars, workshops, group discussions, guest lectures, paper presentations, and industrial visits. It also conducts project competitions and presentations to develop students' technical expertise, creativity, and presentation skills.
