When it came to the issue of nomenclature, the choice was inevitable. From the silver pages of history the golden utterances of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak - eminent mathematician, great educationist and social reformer who gave magic mantra of 'Swaraj' laid the ideological foundation of the genesis of the Sanstha. The Sanstha founded in 1983 has its gargantuan corpus of 30 institutions striving unceasingly towards excellence in education and building the cerebral infrastructure of India as a nation powered with its human resources. Its approach to education is an uncompromising pursuit of excellence through human resources.
The Sanstha with its world of academia ranging from kindergarten to post-graduate in engineering, pharmacy, architecture, management institutions nurtures the fond dream of being the masthead of the journey of the nation from the dark realms of ignorance towards the illuminating energy of knowledge.
An educationist par excellence, the chairman cherishes the Sanstha as the live entity of his intellectual aspirations and continual innovations. Known for his highly skilled technical and entrepreneurial approach, the chairman searches for constant innovation, showing no signs of faltering in his resolve while exploring higher levels of education and complete focusing on placement strategies.
Believing firmly in the values of integrity, transparency and candidness, our chairman believes in creating a collegial work cultural based on merit, producing engineers who are well educated, highly networked, tech-savvy and capable of addressing global issues. According to him, India needs the stalwart hands of young technocrats to lead the world from the front with their brainstorming intellect.
Our chairman aims at contributing in the huge tide of technological march of the country towards the kalam vision of 2020.

One of the main tasks of education is to keep with the advances in knowledge and the progress of the society. Education is the greatest motivating force behind all human endeavors and a nation's prosperity. It is only education & appropriate grounding of essential knowledge areas that has kept man kind pushing the frontiers in every direction. Education is the realization of innate qualities that exists in all human being.

Watching LTCE grow into a Centre of Excellence has been a great pleasure for me. At LTCE, it's faculty, students and support staff are one tight knit family that has been its greatest strength.
