I am truly honored and humbled to serve as the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering (LTCE), Navi Mumbai.
At LTCE, our vision is “to create technically competent and ethically responsible professionals capable of providing efficient solutions to the contemporary world,” and our mission is to foster innovation, research, and holistic development among our students and faculty. The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been a cornerstone of this vision since the college’s establishment in 1994, and I am proud to lead a team of stakeholders including dedicated academicians, researchers, and industry partners who share this commitment.
With over 22 years of teaching experience and 12 years as an Associate Professor at LTCE, I have had the privilege of guiding five Ph.D. candidates and 17 Masters projects in various mechanical engineering areas. My own research interests focus on energy audit, energy management, and design engineering themes that are also central to our department’s curriculum and industry collaborations.
We are an NBA‑accredited program and a NAAC ‘A’ grade Autonomous institute, approved by AICTE and affiliated to University of Mumbai. Our students benefit from well-equipped laboratories, emerging‑technology honors/minors programs, and strong placement support—reflected in our 98% success rate and a global alumni network of over 15,000 professionals
